11 weeks

HOLY COW, 11 weeks already?!

Your Baby: Week 11

Your fetus currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through. But, fingers and toes are no longer webbed, and hair follicles, tooth buds and nail beds are forming -- setting up a significantly more attractive future.

i need some opinions

I am thinking about signing up to do another March of Dimes walk. This one is in October, the 2nd to be exact. I will be almost 25 weeks pregnant. The walk is only .25miles long, which is one reason i am considering doing it. I of course am going to talk to my OB to see what he says about doing the walk that pregnant. So if anyone is reading this, would you consider doing that walk at 25 weeks pregnant (knowing my past).

t-minus 2 weeks

i cant believe how fast time goes. In just 2 weeks i will be entering the 2nd trimester! The second trimester is my time to relax. Time to start buying stuff for the baby and to find out gender (EEEEK). Right now i am voting girl, but i reserve the right to change my mind and make my final guess.

10 weeks and a doctors appointment

Your Baby: Week 10

With bones and cartilage starting to form and vital organs beginning to function, baby is making major progress. Body length will almost double in the next three weeks, and arm joints are now working. (Soon, legs will too.)

and for my doctors appointment....

We got there early and got taken back early. I am down 4lbs and my blood pressure is perfect. Then he took us back for an ultrasound and let us watch for a good 10-15mins. He showed us the baby's heart beat and then the baby moved around, which was cool to see.

He reminded me that the baby will be here is 27 weeks or less! Now i see him again in 4 weeks!

family bowling night

tonight we went out and had "family bowling night". Along with Phillip, Chloe and myself we brought our 13 year old nephew Tyler and our almost 12 year old nephew Alex. We had such a blast and Chloe LOVES to bowl, she was so cute she had all the employees at the front desk watching her bowl (our lane was right across from the front desk). Towards the end it was kind of irritating because someone went into the bathroom to get high and the whole bowling alley smelled like pot, not exactly what i wanted to smell or what i wanted my 2 year old to smell. The person went in the bathroom to get high 3 times before the staff figured out who it was, I'm not exactly sure what they did after that. Then i was up at the desk turning in my shoes while the 3 boys were finishing bowling with Chloe, all of our stuff was sitting on the table. Well one of the staff there was cleaning tables and decided to set 3 martini glasses on our table with our stuff, so when Chloe ran to the table she thought one was my cup and almost took a drink. Phillip was pretty upset and went to talk to the manager, the manager had been watching Chloe play and told Phillip that he saw the whole thing and would be having a talk with said employee.

All in all it was a lot of fun and a great night. We really enjoy spending time with Tyler and Alex and Chloe just loves them like they were her own brothers. I had such a blast watching Chloe bowl, and every time she was done she would run from Phillip to me and give me a high five and a fist pump. She is quite the little entertainer!

Your Baby: Week 9

Your little embryo has now officially graduated to fetus-hood. Adding to the excitement, a Doppler ultrasound device might be able to pick up the beating heart. With basic physical structures in place and increasingly distinct facial features, baby is kind of starting to look like... well... a baby!

it didnt scan very well but here it is, one beautiful baby. It was so amazing to see  today!

8weeks

Your Baby: Week 8

Your baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy.

Your Baby: Week 7

Baby's brain -- both hemispheres! -- is growing fast, generating about 100 new cells every minute. Arms and legs are emerging as joints start to form, and a permanent set of kidneys (baby's third!) is now in place.
