NICU, day 9

Avery is doing AMAZING. She looks so good and really is doing well. Today the bumped up her feedings to 4ml of breastmilk every 3hrs and she gets drops in her mouth in between the feedings because she likes the taste! Today her daddy got to hold her for the first time and watching him was a beautiful thing. He had an ear to ear grin that you could not wipe off of his face. When we got there the nurse had just finished changing her poopy diaper. Her diapers are actually starting to fit her now instead of being way to big. There hasn't been a lot of change (which in NICU terms is a GREAT thing). She loved being held by her daddy and never had a desat the entire time he held her. We are totally and completely head over hills in love with her, but who wouldn't be?!? Oh and today my Avery weighs 2lbs 9oz!!!!!!
